Christmas in July, Pt. Four

Hey Y'all,

Today we've got two very different titles, one anthology features widows and the other NASCAR drivers, but they're both equally heartwarming. For the final Christmas in July post, I've selected Holiday in Stone Creek featuring two stories by Linda Lael Miller, and A NASCAR Holiday 3 featuring stories from: Liz Allison, Wendy Etherington, Brenda Jackson, Marisa Carroll, & Jean Brashear. I hope y'all have enjoyed the Christmas in July series as much as I've enjoyed writing the posts.

On to the reviews!

Description from GoodReads:

A Stone Creek ChristmasStone Creek veterinarian Olivia O'Ballivan communicates easily with animals, but men are another story. Especially rugged architect-turned-rancher Tanner Quinn. Olivia's uncanny bond with his daughter Sophie's pony has him questioning her sanity, while she wonders if he's not just a drugstore cowboy. Then twelve-year-old Sophie conspires with Olivia to get Tanner into the spirit of Christmas. But will a holiday miracle transform the globe-trotting Tanner into a rancher—and family man—for all seasons?

At Home In Stone Creek

Everyone in Ashley O'Ballivan's life is marrying and starting families—except her. But why bother dating when no one can compare to Jack McCall, the man who left her heartbroken years ago? Now he's back in town —and maybe he isn't who she thinks he is.

While recovering from a dangerous mission for the DEA, security expert Jack rents a room in Ashley's bed-and-breakfast. For both their sakes, he tries to keep his distance, though neither can deny the growing spark between them. But when his past catches up with him, he'll have to leave again…just as he realizes where he's always belonged—in Stone Creek.

Review: This anthology features two is sentimental stories, one with a lonely widow and a vet who find love with each other. The second has two happy but unfulfilled people who also are in for a jolly Christmas HEA. I would definitely recommend this book.

Review: If any of y'all follow my twitter feed on the day of a NASCAR Sprint Cup series race (usually Sundays) you know I love to watch the race (and jeer at Jimmie Johnson! #BlameJJ). So when I discovered this Christmas & NASCAR themed anthology I fangirled and immediately bought it from Amazon. Then I was worried it wouldn't be worth a damn, but my fears were completely unfounded! I loved all of the stories and would definitely recommend it to others!

P.S. - For the love of all things NASCAR: Do not tell me that NASCAR is not a sport.
