Review - At Any Cost by Cara Ellison

Hey Y'all,

Today I'm reviewing a book from Netgalley called At Any Cost by Cara Ellison.

At Any Cost is the story of First Daughter Fallon Hughes and Tom Bishop, the Secret Service agent assigned to protect her. A young lawyer with no social life? Sounds like a bodyguard's dream protectee! That is, until one of Fallon's clients commits suicide and she's not convinced. Drawn into a conspiracy theory and rising sexual tension, Fallon and Tom must expose the plot before they wind up dead.

I'm a sucker for a book with political intrigue, so I liked the story. It moved along at a fast pace and the characters were interesting, though slightly predictable. I'd recommend it to those looking for a quick & light thriller.

3/5 stars.
